| Foxy Brown pleads not guilty in assault case Foxy Brown pleaded not guilty today (October 16) to assault charges stemming from an incident in which the rapper allegedly threw her mobile phone at a neighbour. Brown, 28, appeared today in Brooklyn State Supreme Court to enter the plea, reports the Associated Press. The rapper was arrested in Brooklyn in August after she allegedly used her mobile phone to strike her neighbour, Arlene Raymond, for complaining about the volume of her car stereo. Brown has been in Rikers Island prison in New York for violating probation by skipping anger management classes and leaving the city without permission in an unrelated case. |
Shout Out Louds plot US jaunt Shout Out Louds have announced that they will embark on an extensive tour of North America this autumn. The jaunt is set to kick off in Los Angeles on October 6 at the LA Weekly Detour Festival. They'll then hit several major cities including San Francisco, Vancouver, Boston and New York before wrapping things up in Dallas on November 3. The Swedish five-piece are supporting their recent album 'Our Ill Wills', produced by Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John. |
Amy Winehouse and Wu Tang Clan added to US Virgin Festival Amy Winehouse and Wu Tang Clan have been added to the US Virgin Festival. The august festival's line up also includes Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem and CSS. As previously reported the festival will be headlined by The Police, The Smashing Pumpkins and Beastie Boys. The bash will take place between August 4-5 in Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. Ticket are due to go on sale on May 5.
