| The Automatic plot first US headlining tour The Automatic have announced the details of their very first headlining tour of the US. Following on the heels of their Warped Tour appearances, the band will play several dates across North America in support of the Stateside release of their debut album, 'Not Accepted Anywhere'. The Welsh quartet are set to kick off the tour on July 26 at New York's Bowery Ballroom. They'll hit several major US cities as well as Toronto before wrapping things up on August 8 in Cincinnati, Ohio. |
Cribs raise the temperature at Lollapalooza The Cribs performed an hour long set this afternoon at Lollapalooza when they kicked off the second 'main' stage at Grant Park. Opening with 'Mirrors Kissers', the band pushed their own limits to make it through thanks to the intense heat and a late night after their sold-out show at Empty Bottle. Despite the searing afternoon temperatures, the trio managed to get the thousands in the crowd going with tracks from all three albums including 'Another Number', 'Hey Scenesters' and 'Men's Needs'. Meanwhile, last night's show at Empty Bottle included a preview of a brand new track 'Don't You Wanna Be Relevant'. Battles hit the road after debut album release Battles are to go on a UK tour after the release if their debut album. As previously reported, 'Mirrored' is released later this month (May 14). The tracklisting for 'Mirrored' is as follows: 'Race:In' 'Atlas' 'Ddiamondd' 'Tonto' 'Leyendecker' 'Rainbow' 'BadTrails' 'Prismism' 'SnareHangar' 'TIJ' 'Race: Out' The New Yorkers will also be touring the UK around the LP's release after a string of dates across America.
