| Air reveal details of new single Air have confirmed their second single to be taken from new album 'Pocket Symphony'. 'Mer Du Japon' will be released on CD, 7" transparent vinyl and download on June 11. The single release will be a brand new version of the track as well as remixes by The Teenagers, who have recently remixed New Young Pony Club. Air are currently in the middle of a world tour, including shows in Europe and the US. 'Pocket Symphony', which is their fifth full-length album, was released in March. |
Kid Rock in new punch up Kid Rock was arrested for fighting in a Waffle House restaurant on Saturday (20.10.07). The 36-year-old singer, who had earlier played at Atlanta venue The Tabernacle, was dining with his entourage at a nearby branch of the fast food restaurant when Rock became involved in a brawl with a male customer. Mekka Parish, a spokeswoman for DeKalb County Police Department, said: "Kid Rock and five members of his entourage were involved in a fight with a male customer inside the Waffle House. A male customer recognised a woman with the party and exchanged words with her. "It escalated to a physical altercation between Kid Rock and that male customer, and moved outside to the parking lot. At one point the customer punched out a restaurant window." Police were called after the 'Cowboy' singer had left the restaurant. Rock's tour bus was stopped about a mile from the Waffle House and he, along with five members of his entourage, were taken into custody and charged with a misdemeanour charge of simple battery. After spending 12 hours in DeKalb County Jail, Rock was released on Sunday evening (21.10.07) after posting $1,000 bail. The male customer involved in the tussle was charged with a felony for smashing the window. |
P Diddy investigated in assault case P. Diddy is being investigated for allegedly punching a man during an argument at a trendy New York club this weekend. The NYPD is looking into the accusation that came from a man at the SoHo club on Saturday (October 13) night. According to the man, he and Diddy were arguing over a woman when the rapper punched him in the face. Officials are trying to locate witnesses before questioning Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, reports the Associated Press. Diddy's attorney issued a statement denying the accusations. "We hope this matter will be resolved without the filing of any criminal charges as it was a disagreement among acquaintances, not a criminal assault," Benjamin Brafman said in the statement. |
